Project Overview
Rattle & Hum Laundry Co. was the complete buildout of a brand-new neighborhood laundromat within an existing retail space. The project began with the selective removal of the previous tenant’s improvements and included the installation of all new electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems, as well as all commercial laundry equipment, interior framing, drywall, and architectural finishes.
Art of Construction partnered with the owner to develop an efficient layout and manage every phase of the buildout from concept through completion. Working closely with the owner, an accomplished interior designer, we helped bring a unique design vision to life by balancing operational efficiency with carefully curated architectural details and finishes.
The completed facility features 30 washers and 18 stack dryers in a bright, contemporary space that feels both modern and inviting. Crisp white subway tile, natural wood accents, soft blue tones, and clean industrial details create a fresh aesthetic that reflects the Rattle & Hum brand while providing customers with a comfortable and welcoming environment.
Designed for long-term durability and simplified maintenance, Rattle & Hum Laundry Co. demonstrates how thoughtful planning, quality construction, and intentional design can elevate a neighborhood laundromat into a destination that customers enjoy visiting and owners can operate with confidence.
