Project Overview

Family Laundry – Ridgefield Park is a 3,850-square-foot adaptive reuse project that transformed a former commercial bank into a modern, high-capacity self-service laundromat. As the second successful project completed for Family Laundry, the full interior renovation included the selective removal of the existing interior improvements, new electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems, commercial laundry equipment installation, interior framing, drywall, and premium architectural finishes.

Partnering closely with the owner from design through completion, Art of Construction optimized the facility layout to maximize equipment capacity, customer flow, and operational efficiency while creating a clean, welcoming environment.

The completed laundromat features 51 commercial washers and 28 stack dryers arranged within an open floor plan with spacious folding stations, wide aisles, charging counters, modern customer amenities, and durable commercial finishes designed for high-volume operation. A bold color palette, abundant natural light, and contemporary materials reinforce the Family Laundry brand while enhancing the customer experience.
